Christian Bass has been the Student Ministry Pastor at Mountainview for the past 3 years and is responsible for overseeing the spiritual instruction and leadership of the student ministry team, which serves youths from 6th-12th grades.. His approach to ministry is very simply to be relational. Students need a safe place to be themselves as they pursue a deeper relationship with Jesus. He loves that MV is honest and messy. His youth pastor, when he was a student, had a profound impact on his life by showing him who Jesus was and influenced his decision to pursue vocational ministry. His favorite quote is by Henri Nouwen: “The mystery of ministry is that we have been chosen to make our own limited and very conditional love the gateway for the unlimited and unconditional love of God”.
Christian grew up in Oregon and went to school at Hope International University in California. He is married to his wife Andrea and they have two children.
