What We Believe

The most meaningful act demonstrating a new believer has abandoned their old way of life and has started a new way of life is baptism. Baptism is a beautiful, public commitment of your desire to follow Jesus. Jesus instructed us to be baptized, so baptism becomes a step of obedience in our journey with Him. Baptism demonstrates our submission to God. We immerse at Mountainview Christian Church because we believe Scripture shows that Jesus modeled that for us as the way to publicly acknowledge the changes He is making in our lives.
