It’s time to start again. Whether you have kids in school or not, may I challenge you to begin the new school year in prayer?
Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying.
Romans 12:12 NLT
Along with our fervent prayer that God would altogether eradicate Covid 19, here’s how you can pray...
for a safe return to classrooms.
for the health and safety of teachers and staff.
for school boards and administrators as they make difficult decisions.
for teachers to be men and women of integrity.
for teachers’ hearts to be filled with empathy and compassion for every student.
for parents to fully engage and support their students.
for families to be strong to face any new challenges and disruptions.
for students to learn the life lessons that will give them strength, courage, and confidence for the future.
I boldly ask that you join Sara and me in prayer for our two sons, their classmates, and teachers as in person instruction begins. Nothing could produce a more powerful outcome than for us to pray for students, parents, teachers and school workers everywhere.
Grace & Peace,
Pastor Tom
